Change manager
A change manager works with a Community of Learning| Kāhui Ako to plan, develop and implement a programme of change at an organisational level. This could include identifying the systems, processes and resources required to support the ongoing development of the Community of Learning.
A change manager would work closely with the leadership of a Community of Learning to support their roles and manage change in specific areas. They would typically be engaged for several months.
Note: the change manager is a different role to an expert partner, and has a different skill set. An expert partner assists with developing and implementing the educational achievement challenges. Therefore, the consultants who provide change management support are different from our existing expert partners.
A change manager can offer advice and practical support in:
- forming a Community of Learning
- creating a shared vision and culture of collaboration
- helping boards of trustees work together better
- stakeholder management planning
- sharing and standardising business processes and systems
- establishing effective processes and ways of working.
