Tahi, Rua, Toru, Tech! - National Digital Championship

From April 6 the National Digital Championship kicks off – providing a fun and interactive way for schools and kura to learn about the new Digital Technologies and Hangarau Matihiko curriculum content.

Students will be able to participate as individuals or in a team to represent their school or kura, supported by a teacher. Their aim will be to demonstrate how digital technologies can be used to solve a local problem in their school community.

Students can sign up to take part in the Championship from now on with regional rounds taking place from term 3, and a national celebration in term 4.

The National Digital Championship is being run as a partnership between the Ministry of Education, IT Professionals New Zealand, the Royal Society of New Zealand, Code Club Aotearoa, and the Digital Technologies Teachers Association (DTTA) and others over 2018 and 2019.
